I was wondering why you posted that and then I realized those were motorcycles going down the street. KIOL 103.7 is helping host what is now the 3rd largest bikers get together in the country behind Daytona's bike week and one other to help raise funds for the Boys and Girls Ranch founded by Stevens and Pruett many years ago. Many bikers are overnighting in Galveston and then congregating at the gathering points in the morning.

A cool thing to watch. I live on a dead end about 4 houses away from the main interstate here in Central Florida, I-4. So for bike week, biketober feast, and a poker run they have its cool to hear the bikes all day, for a few days actually. One time the closed down I-4 for about 30 minutes, on and off traffic, to let just the bikes go, some sort of poker run fund raiser, forgot which one. But it was just the bikes no other traffic for a full 20 minutes. That was cool. We sat out in our front yard and watched. It was quite amazing to see the never ending clan of bikers. They do some awesome things. What they are doing is Galveston is another fine example of what these folks do in their biker community. Thanks for sharing.
