Wisconsin trying to re-instate Death Penalty

#1 Postby pojo » Wed Mar 15, 2006 7:01 pm

Due to the horrific events of the Teresa Halbach death Wisconsin is trying to re-instate the death penalty. We are one of a handful of states that do not currently have the death penalty and the government is trying to reinstate it. I'm sure the Halbach case kicked the legislature into high gear... however, it is too early to tell what events started the legislation.

The full history of Teresa's kidnapping/torture/killing and the case against Steven Avery and his 16 year old nephew Brendan Dassey is on http://www.postcrescent.com

that is a horrible case and i'm amazed how the nephew provided so much detail but has the nerve to plea not guilty. How does THAT work???
