Agent Michael Bookman has been working long hours in his new job at the Department of Homeland Security and wants to spend some quality time with his wife and son. He arranges to meet them at a football game, but has to change plans when he is sent to diffuse a bomb rigged to explode in a local sports bar. Michael joins his fellow agent Douglas in a desperate attempt to save the people trapped inside.
But a massive explosion rocks the building before they can succeed.
Debris is still falling when the Undersecretary for Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection calls to report another bomb-threat. An Al Qaeda terrorist faction has rigged a football stadium with deadly explosives, the same stadium where Michael's wife and son are waiting for him. The terrorists warn that any interruption to the game-play or attempts to evacuate the stadium will trigger detonation. Michael is in a tense a race against the game clock to uncover clues to the Terrorists identities and save his family and the spectators.
The thing that struck me funny was that one of the teams playing was the-get this-the defending Superbowl Champions-New Orleans
