Breaking news: a barge has hit the gandy bridge: eastboud traffic is being rerouted and westbound is open
truck fire on the north bound part
traffic is advised to use the coutney campbell bridge

DANG!!! i remember when i was in Kindergarten and the ship hit the Skyway...

Any update?

i guess i might call my relatives as they all live in St. Pete and my sister navigates the Gandy daily i believe

No one was injured.

One lane of the eastbound span (St. pete to Tampa) will be closed for about two weeks for repair. The traffic reports this morning said that the traffic is actually not too bad.
