Well, I work every single Saturday unless I request it off. That is just the way retail is. This Saturday, I am only scheduled 4 hours though. ( I work 1-5 today) Then, I plan to just go home and relax after I get off. I am not going to go out. Taking a break from the club scene this weekend. Sunday, I am off. Plan on going to church in the morning and maybe out to eat lunch with the family after. Then, just go home, relax some, try to clean my room, spend some time with my yorkie puppy Chloe. Because I work the next 6 days after that. Monday-Saturday, so it will be a very long week. Sunday is the only full day I have off.

We're cleaning out our garage today. What a chore but it needs to be done before I start doing major yardwork. We're tripping over the snow blower (hardly used this winter), toys and roller blades no longer used by anyone in this family! Add to that, huge boxes that have collected over the winter for recycling (can't bear to throw them out when I know they can be recycled) and bags upon bags of Goodwill items. There was barely room for 2 cars. LOL

I'm involving our pack rat 15 year old daughter too - time for her to say "I no longer need that bucket and shovel, let's give it away"!!!

I just want to be able to put my car away and not have to pull in so carefully, to avoid scatching it and be able to open my door to get out!

I wish I used to be as organized as I was 20 years ago. Sigh.....good luck with the garage sale CM. We could stand to have one as well! Lots of junk collected in this house, since we moved in 1989. We joke that if we ever sold it, it would take a year to get ready for a listing. LOL

That's my plan. Nothing exciting but rewarding when it's done.

CM - so what did you do with your winnings? $327 - that's pretty darn good. Most we ever made was about $80! We went out to dinner that night and afterwards we said we wished we had purchased a tangible item for the house. One that we could always look at and say - that was from our garage sale winnings!

Now I just cart it to Goodwill. I don't have the interest to try garage sales anymore. More power to you if can pull one off. They're a lot of work!

I was so beat there was no way I was cooking so we picked up dinner at Texas Roadhouse. I still have plenty $$ and that's all i'm going to share. I was the one out there in near 85° weather!

No more garage sales for me. We still donated alot of stuff to Goodwill, mainly clothing.

Thanks for the concern. It is all overland flooding so not terribly dangerous, thank goodness. The water here is going down today - now it the turn of the towns downstream to worry. I love spring; just not this part of it - seems like it is happening more and more often.

LOL - sounds familiar. There was an estate auction sale a block from my house yesterday - I kept telling myself I don't need anything . . . I have too much junk as it is!!! I think I need to have an auction sale, not go buy more stuff at one!
