I work in the CBD, have for many years now. The parking situation down here has always been a headache, so you do well to secure contract parking. I got my statement for April, and they are now charging tax for my parking? In all the years I have parked down here, I have never been charged tax!!!

Don't know Mary. But when I asked a couple other people if there were being charged tax now on their contract parking, they looked at me like I was nuts (maybe I am, I dunno :D )

They want to tax everything here in PR cause our island is broke. You just wait and see, there will be a tax on everything. Thank God we are not taxed when we buy something on the internet, but that won't last long. Think of the tax states are losing by people quitting smoking. That was a big money maker.
