What I said was, "lack of a body precludes accidental solitary death". In your example, someone is involved and knows what happened. She didn't disappear all by herself by wandering down to the beach and falling in drunk and just washing away.

Maybe they sold her to slavery. They could have taken her to the beach where a boat was ready to pick her up. She could still be alive.

You are exactly right, Janice. I you find NO body, then most likely a crime has been committed and somebody knows something. I was really making the point that it's highly unlikely this was a totally innocent disappearance, with NO ONE who lives in Aruba involved in any way. And the slavery issue is, unfortunately, a valid fear. <<shiver>>

Also, she could have been with the boys and they let her off somewhere alive. She may have walked, drunk or drugged, trying to get back to town and someone else picked her up. It could be anyone on the island who had a car that was driving in that area who picked her up.
