I was wondering if anyone read the latest NG? the May 2006 one, it has a pretty interesting story in it on the gov't wanting to open Alaska's ranges up for oil drilling...I know this is a very touchy issue...but was just curious what other people thought...I am not an enviromentalist in any way...I just simply think we have caused enough damage on the earth...I personlly thought it was an awesome story, and pretty much details why I am against them going any farther, I mean, sure we can use the oil...but destorying something that beautiful for only 3 years worth of oil...doesn't seem right. Congress, instead of spending the money they are on trying to open the reserve up to drill for oil, could actually use the money to help with bio-fuels...guess that is to simple and produces less money for their liking...anyways...I've gone on my rant...now... NO POLITICS PLEASE!!!
I will try to find some photos of the areas and post them...really beautiful country up there...you guys should check it out...
