I'm back! Boy oh boy...I had a BLAST!!! The weather was gorgeous the entire time, the port of calls in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel were incredible, although Cozumel is still pretty beat up. Grand Cayman is as well, but they seem to be bouncing back a little quicker. Still, there were amazing sights and I swam with, fed, held and even kissed STINGRAYS in the Cayman Islands!! At first I was scared and screaming when they swam next to and between my legs, then I warmed up to them. I went tubing down the White River in Jamaica, hung out on the beaches in all 3 places, several of us rented a jeep and went to some Bob Marley hut place on the other side of Cozumel, located right on the beach. He had just opened back on April 15th because Wilma wiped out the entire place, but their desire to come back better than ever is very strong. I saw many signs talking about their survival, etc. There was tons of evidence everywhere that a devastating hurricane visited. Still though, the beach was beautiful, as was the water. In Jamaica, a large group of us had a blast at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. I think we would have shut down the place had we not had to get back on the ship. Excellent fajitas & guacamole! Btw, we were the ones running down the dock, shouting "Wait for us!" hehe
Yeah, mon!
I could go on and on, but I want to catch up a bit. I've got tons of unpacking to do, bills to pay, errands to run, and other things to tend to, not to mention getting back to the ol regular stuff, so I still might be a little scarce for a few days, but I'll be around.
Eventually, I'll get my digital pics uploaded, discs from my 35mm camera, as well as my water camera pics developed, then I'll post some pics.
Glad to be back, sorta.

Oh, I am so glad you had a great time. John swam with the stingrays too. I will send you a pic. I just sat on the back of the boat and watched. He said they were like little puppies, he fed them and so soft. That is one of my favorite bunch of islands to go to. And of course, I love the dredlocks and "eh mon". Send us some pictures.

I wish I would of did the stingray trip when I went to Grand Cayman. I regret not going. The first time I visited Grand Cayman, it was not my choice on what excursion to go on. Because my mom basically paid my way for everything. We went on a bus and just toured the island. I was the youngest one on the bus by far. It was mostly filled with senior citizens. I was the only 20 something. And even though the island was breathtaking. I nearly fell asleep on the bus. Then, we went on a rum cake tour. And my mom must of sampled every single flavor of rum cake. I think she got drunk on it.
The next time I paid for my own cruise and got to do what I wanted in Grand Cayman. My aunt and I went just have a lazy day on 7-mile beach. I just loved the Carnival Conquest and wish she still sailed out of New Orleans. It was only an hour drive to get to the port. I wish I could afford another cruise! I am so glad you had a great time! Can't wait to see the pictures! I am going to be so jealous!
