Are you serious? I thought you knew just about everything. lol. j/j alicia. We did spell it wrong though its spelled badminton. It is kinda like tennis in that there is a net and you use rackets. What you hit is called a birdie not a ball. And you can play anwhere because the birdie isn't suppost to hit the ground. Here is 2 links on it. :D Wow I just learned something, they are calling the birdie a shuttlecock? :lol: We have always called them birdies my whole life. :D

Yeah we played too, did you call the object you hit a birdie? Or a shuttlecock? :lol: I have never heard it called the last one but that is what the pros on those sites I found are calling it.

We called it a birdie. My dad bought us the poles and net for the back yard. They were just simple, but held up the lightweight net. We would play a lot on cool nights.
