((HUGS)) Alice. My kids don't live around here but they sent gifts, flowers and called with lots of love. I miss them.

My kids used to give me a gift. Their dad would help them pick it out.

Sometimes, kids make gifts in school. The hands prints in clay, etc. Those gifts are the most precious. I still have some of their artwork as you would say.

My two children from a previous marriage passed away as teenagers. Sean was 19, leukemia and Lisa 17, car accident. I still have children, they are just not here. I will go on and on telling stories of them still. I am fine and life is great now. That was a long time ago. Pictures everywhere, and I say "hi" as I go by. I cannot complain. I had the best for 20 years, some people never experienced that. Life is great now, I have cats, haha. Maybe that is why I talk about them a lot, they are my children now.

Thanks for asking.
