Deb...good idea!

I hate the problem of not knowing WHAT to eat...open cupboard, close cupboard; open fridge, close fridge; open freezer, close freezer... What's to eat??? (FYI...all of which is full!)

what's worse than that is when you ask the family what they want for dinner and they say, "it's up to you...I don't care" And you don't know what you want to eat LOL

I don't worry too much about what to eat. Whether you like it or not, it will be gone after you eat it. Then you don't have to worry about it anymore.

Happens to me as well. There are only so many things you can eat so many days in a row, that you get tired of looking at those items and can't find anything else.

I also have that problem.

Like CF said above, it's because you can only eat certain things at certain times and cannot keep eating the same thing over and over again.

So when I look in the pantry, there are snack foods, canned foods, cat foods, cereals and components or packs for complete meals (like rice-a-roni and macaroni and cheese). All of this is edible (even the cat food, but I don't eat that of course), but when it's time for lunch, I don't want to eat chips, but nor do I often want to cook up a big meal. So I have to choose between canned foods (namely in this case soup or baked beans) and those make it yourself meals like macaroni and cheese. And then it's always hard to choose.

I always feel guilty though because I know there are people who just don't have access to food in the first place, or don't have the option to choose among various types and amounts of food, BUT...that doesn't make the choice any easier.

I get so annoyed when that happens! I open the fridge and stare into it, like something will just jump out and say "EAT ME" but then I say "I dont want to eat you" I close the fridge, then open it again, stare a little bit more, close it. Jump in the car and head to the local Deli

I think it is because we always seem to want what we don't have. My wife has a theory that food in the supermarket looks wonderful, until you bring it home and it sits in the fridge or pantry for a few days.
