I do not intend, my friends, to regurgitate all this Hillary stuff. I'm just not going to do it. There were so many questions Barbara Walters could have and should have asked, it's not even worth going through. Larry King will ask her the tough questions anyway, this coming Tuesday night.
I will never forget, all during the second term of the Clinton administration, Democrats saying, "Can't you people just move on?" Meaning people like me, and even after the Clintons left, people said, "You just can't get by without the Clintons, can you?"
I just want it noted who is throwing the Clintons in front of our face every day now; it's the Clintons. And why are they doing it? They're doing it for money. Hillary is also doing it because the fact of the matter is that the American people are not yet ready, despite all the "cultural advancement" we've made in America, to elect a man or woman or couple to the White House who have a relationship that is purely arranged for political reasons. So she has to portray herself as the betrayed wife in order to relate to as many women as possible.
No, folks, it's not conservatives who are putting the Clintons in front of everybody and throwing them in our face. It's the Clintons who have always done that, and it's very slowly evolving that it's Democratic activists who are fed up with the fact that the Clintons will not stay out of the news. Susan Estrich accused them in a column of sucking up all the oxygen. I made the statement on this program about a month ago that the Clinton effort is designed to sabotage all nine of these Democratic candidates for president. If Hillary is indeed going to run in 2008 the last thing she needs is a Democrat winning the White House in 2004. More Democrats are figuring this out now. The Philadelphia Inquirer has a story, titled "Democrat activists to Clintons: Shut up."
The Clintons are a pain in the rear end for Democrats now, and forgive me if I don't feel your pain, Democrats. They're your people and you can live with them. You gave them to us, you've supported them, you've built them up, now you live with them. Every bit as destructive as they are to themselves, so are they to people around them. Just check a number of places and you'll find out how destructive this couple has been.
