I've joked for years, decades really, that my brothers and I were raised on the "shoulds". My mom used that word daily, I'm sure! Along with "they". I always wondered who "they" were and why I "should" do this or that! LOL

Chad all kids potty train on their on time table............my Pediatrician said, when they get tired of "crapping" on themselves, they will go to the bathroom....he was a hoot!

Anyway I enticed my daughter with books and sometimes raisins. Also good for digestion to help along the poopy :) They had their own little potty chair and no water in it so no splash.

My niece has a little one that she is training now and she has a Dora The Explorer Portable Potty Seat. She refuses to even go TT on the big potty with out that seat, she is scared she will fall in.

I also found that mine would go hide in their closest or behind the curtains or somewhere they couldn't be seen to do their business................the privacy thing.

Oh well, just try different things till they work and Good Luck!
