Delay in 911 response worries two women

Tonya Phillips was shaking when she called 911. Irene Guajardo dove for cover. "I heard shots, I heard shots and I saw them running," said Phillips in her 911 call.

"And then the guns started, and I ducked down immediately, and crawled to the phone, and I called 911 immediately," said Guajardo.

Guess im lucky here in Hampton VA. You call 911 over something like that here you will see more cops than you have ever seen in your life.

Thank God, no such delays like that here yet, either ... (emphasize YET--Katrina has decimated the police force in the area).
