Would you buy a used Hot Tub

A friend of mine just bought a house with a pretty new Hot Tub. He doesn't want it. I have a 10 year old hot tub. It works fine. I just replaced the blower pump, and I think the other two pumps will need to be replaced soon. I really want this new hot tub, but it will cost about $250 to move. So, I thought about selling my old hot tub to cover the costs of the move, and maybe pay for the electrician to hook it up. Do people buy a used item like this? It would cost about $500-$600 just to have the electric hooked up too.

If you think it is worth the moving cost and electric hook up cost then go for it! I would. I wouldn't think twice of buying a used hot tub at a good price if it was in working condition. Heck ya! Why not? I mean its not as if its dirty or nothing chlorine is running through the tub all the time so its clean. lol.
