Wrigley patents anti-impotence gum

Company says Viagra-like product ‘an improved dosage form’

June 12 — Wm. Wrigley Jr., maker of Juicy Fruit, Big Red and Doublemint gums, is expanding its definition of “doubling your pleasure.” The Chicago gum company has been granted a U.S. government patent to develop a gum that contains a dose of the generic chemical in Viagra.

When I get gum, I tend to put the whole pack in my mouth at once. That could have some amazing results. (Hon, I think I'll stay home from work today)

I'm just saying that I seriously don't like the fact that this idea is out there... I mean, chewing gum for that sort of thing??? I don't think i'd go near that aisle.

Will the "limp" now go away for people who can't walk and chew gum at the same time?

I once ate at Oprah's restaurant in Chicago. They told us we were sitting at Oprah's favorite table (they probably told that to everyone who came in), but, in my search for a souvenir I found some gum stuck under the table (Oprah's gum, of course). Had that been Viagra gum, would the table have been higher and the gum easier to spot? (BTW, I did NOT take it as a souvenir!)

And finally, I have to ask the ultimate question....

Baseball players love to chew gum...mouthfuls of gum. So just as Sammy Sosa can tell you all about the rule against cork in bats, will there now be a new rule about making your bat larger by chewing Viagra gum when you are in the batter's box?

Ohhhhh...I almost feel like apologizing for that one...but then, I didn't start this thread.
