VERY sad news!

I forgot to tell y'all......my buddy, my pal, my PET, Bernie the Elk was struck by lightning on Friday and DIED :cry: R.I.P. Bernie.......you could have been my winters meat supply "LOL!" SORRY.......at least God took him and not some HUNTER!

SPEAKING of lightning, we've now had 5 people struck within the past 2 weeks now......it's UNREAL!!! The latest vic, a woman was standing outside the Super 8 Motel here in town and struck down, she's ok, she said she saw it COMING!!!

Oh no Dennis - that is so sad. How majestic he was! Yes at least God did take him and not a hunter......you don't know how many times I've counted my lucky stars my hubby isn't into hunting!

Aw poor Bernie. That is so sad, I am going to miss his pictures. :( I guess the neighbor next door is probably happy now. :grrr:

So sorry for your loss. Like you said, at least God took him and not some other SOB hunter.

This makes me wonder if that cynical neighbor of yours next door wished that. :grrr:

I didn't think of the next door neighbor issue. Grrrrrrr. Careful of what you wish for I guess. Wonder if she'll even vaguely miss him.

OMG! Not Bernie!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I always wanted a pet elk...well I wanted a pet camel too, and that hasn't come to pass as yet, but a pet elk would be like a dream.

But really sad about the fatal lightning strike on Bernie :cry:
