I Just HAD to Know This...LoL!

From WSMV news in Nashville:

June 13, 2003

It may not come as a surprise that cows
have bad breath, but even a good dose of
mouth wash can not prevent a dangerous
consequence of that odor.

According to researchers at the University
of Nebraska, the collective breathing of cows
accounts for nearly 20 percent of the methane
gas released into the atmosphere.

Those same researchers are now trying to
develop an additive for cattle feed that will
cut down on the gas.

Hmmm....Bovine "Scope", maybe?

I've heard about livestock flatulence emissions being a part of the methane releases in the atmosphere, too!

Firefighter, you wouldn't BELIEVE how much federal grant money there is available to do such research, we write grants for our business, that's how we earn our living (partly, our commercial landscape picks up the slack). There are literally MILLIONS of $$$ available for *stupid* research programs!

LoL, this was just one of those silly stories that I had
to share - didn't want to keep the laughter
all to myself! :D
