Havelock, North Carolina Has Gone Wild!!!

#1 Postby brunota2003 » Thu Aug 10, 2006 10:58 am

I normally do not post things from my local news here, but this was to interesting to not pass on: HAVELOCK GONE WILD! Both of those are about 1/4 to 1/2 mile from my house  Feral pig on the east end and Iguana on the west end of town...I love this place, the news updates every wednesday and always has awesome articles! a few weeks ago it was about a water hazard with teeth (aligator on our local golf course), and now pigs and lizards... Get this...that article was this weeks feature, meaning on the actual newspaper it was front page!
Oh, and one more:
Havelock Chimney Sweep To Sweep White House Chimney! Well, I hope you guys enjoy my local news...

remember that Iguana in the Havelock News the above issues mentioned? Well, after several weeks (3 months at most according to the article) of evading capture, its luck, or unluckiness, finally ran out:
Iguana Story
they said it probably would not of made it through the winter...so good thing they captured it :)
