I just gave my resume to a company a week ago. There is a good chance they will offer me a job since 3 former co-workers of mine have left here and are there now. I will not go w/o negotiating for my vacation time because I'm TOO OLD TO START OVER!!!!!!!!!!

N/P

My company was bought out and as of November my department and alot of the other accounting departments are done. Been here 11 years. Needless to say, the mood around here is quite gloomy.

I get so sick now, never use to in my younger days.

Oh Yes!!!!! Just took my daughter to Sea World, and promised her I'd go on their latest and greatest steel flippy roller coaster, the one where your feet dangle. Anyway I thought it was great until we got to the top of the first hill, and I looked down and realized that we were suspended from one small rail... OMG I figured right then and there I was going to be the first person to die on that ride!!! Well I kept my eyes shut the whole time, and squeezed my forearms and hands around the harness so hard the ride attendant had to pry my fingers off the grips...LOL. The attendants laughed so hard, and all "high-fived" this old Mama... so I did it again. I couldn't embarrass my daughter.....

PS: I was sorry to have missed the Florida get together at Sea World... but now I know I would have made a spectacle of myself...LOL

You must be refering to KRACKEN. What a great ride. We all went on it at the gathering except for one or two that could not because of health issues. But that is one of the best coasters in FL. Go grimmy! :D I would have loved to see that in person though. Next time you need to come where ever we may end up. The more the merrier.
