#1 Postby azsnowman » Fri Sep 08, 2006 5:15 pm

Anyone else have a BUMPER crop of fruit from their yard this year?

We have BUSHELS and BUSHELS of APPLES this year  Seriously, we've picked OVER 150 POUNDS of apples TODAY....I have a scale to weigh stuff with and I swear, it's a 150 POUNDS, it's UNREAL!!!

Tomorrow is apple jam, apple/blackberry jam and apple jalapeno jelly making day!

My apple trees have been producing like crazy for the last couple of years. This year I didn't get them off the tree in time, and the hornets have moved in; eating into the apples.
