Hmmmm....

Anna Nicole’s son’s death called ‘suspicious’
Coroner orders formal inquiry, says criminal charges could be filed

Associated Press
Updated: 15 minutes ago

NASSAU, Bahamas - The death of Anna Nicole Smith’s 20-year-old son was termed “suspicious” by the coroner’s office Wednesday, and a formal inquiry that could lead to criminal charges has been scheduled.

Earlier, Her Majesty’s Coroner Linda P. Virgill said at least one other person was in the hospital room when Daniel Wayne Smith died. She refused to elaborate.

Virgill scheduled the inquest for the week of Oct. 23, saying it “is the right course of action.” If jurors at the inquest decide a crime took place, the case would be sent to the attorney general’s office, authorities said.

Woah. So he died while visiting Anna in the hospital after she gave birth? He was not the one actually in the hospital. Hmmm. Interesting I am interested to see how this ends up.
Anna always seemed to show alot of love towards him whenever they were together. Sad that he has passed.

I'm confused, when did her son die and she has a new baby?

I just read the article...it'll be interesting to see what happens with the inquest. How sad for her...to loose a son and give birth to a new child on the same day...wow, its really odd, but I feel sorrow for her nontheless...its heartbreaking. How do you ever celebrate one childs birthday on the day you lost your other child of 20 years....

What's really suspicious is that the father of her new baby is reportedly going to sue for custody, which means he'll probably ask for child support also.

Regardless of one's opinion about her and if she deserved the money she received from her deceased spouse, this just looks all too suspicious in regards to the new baby's father.

Anna Nicole Smith frantically tried to revive her stricken son and had to be sedated after he died, her attorney said Wednesday. “The devastation and grief over Daniel’s sudden death coupled with the sedation has been so extreme that Anna Nicole experienced memory loss of the event,” attorney Michael Scott said.

I think she had given birth to her daughter three days before her son died. Her son was visiting her at the hospital when he died.

I would imagine it is drug related, somehow, but it doesn't lessen the tremendous grief she must feel right now. How terrible for her and her family.
