Streetracing kills 4

#1 Postby CajunMama » Mon Oct 02, 2006 1:39 pm

Horrific weekend here. According to the media 2 cars were streetracing and one of the cars hit an oncoming car headon killing the 4 people in the incoming car. A third car was also involved but left the scene (has now since turned himself in). This accident has the community in an uproar.

I would be outraged too! There is no sense in this, especially where they were. IMO, streetracing is just as bad as manufacturing drugs. They should make it a felony like they do with the drugs.

That is how my husbands Aunt was killed, broad daylight while two thugs were dragracing on the hwy. One crossed the median and hit her head on, killing her instantly!

Oh darn, I just saw that pic. I could tell one was a Mustang, what was the other vehicle?

And the other car leaving the scene is so typical!

I just read the last link. This is quite unusual for the other driver to come forward. I am glad he/she did the right thing.

A little Honda CRX is no match for a Mustang going at a high rate of speed.

The other vehicle was a honda accord, i believe. There's been many a tale flying around on the newspaper mb...i'm just waiting for the police to divulge all the "facts".

Read the last link. It says it is a Honda CRX. Little car. Those 4 people probably did not even know what hit them. This is very sad!! My prayers going out to all the families!

The crx was the one that drove off. The 2 cars involved directly in the accident were the mustang and accord.

When I read about this in the paper Sunday morning, I couldn't believe it! It's just so horrible that 4 innocent people were killed. My prayers go out to the families.
