Is there an arrow on either side of it? Like close to the end of your computer screen?

In Firefox 2: Right click on the line with "File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help" and then select Navigation Toolbar if you can't get it off the View menu. I assume it is similar in other browsers.

No arrow to the left but only the word address, the arrow before go and all that is to the left and not to the right where (go) is supposed to be.

right click on the line you want it then make certain address bar is checked - if not check it (click on it) then it should return. Otherwise - if you see 2 vertical dots on the line where it used to be click on those and pull which ever direction you want it to go and see if that works.

Good luck!
