Does anybody have Christmas traditions?????
Since I have a wife and our daughter just turned seven last Thursday, On Christmas Eve the three of us go my Uncle and Aunts for a little party then to my Parents. Usually we go to my Mother In Law's on Christmas Day, but she is going to Georgia to my Brother In Laws we will go to my Parents. When she returns we will have Christmas with her. Both days we open presents. My wifes sister and kids are coming after Christmas.

Traditions... yes.
My husband is worse than a little kid at Christmas time, ready to open everything NOW. Since his parents and sister live nearby, we've always gathered with them on the 25th, and Ken and I have our personal gift exchange on the 24th. One year we started at 4 in the afternoon!

Linda I thought u were an angel

When I was a kid we had a huge dinner xmas eve when we stayed home..or at my grandparents house when we went to PA. Presents were opened around 10 or so Xmas eve or whenever my parents got tired of me asking if Santa came yet lol. Xmas day was a quiet one..with me playing with my presents and my parents sleeping late.

Ever since "Das Boot" ("The Boat") became available on DVD in the mid-1980s, my husband has always put it on while he struggled with the lights on the Christmas tree.
Of course, now that we have an artificial, pre-lit tree, he doesn't have to pump the volume as much as he used to (to drown out the cuss words!). We laugh that the soundtrack is one of our favorite Christmas songs.
No matter where we've lived, we've always driven around town after the Christmas Eve service at church to check out home light displays. And since we've been here in SoFla, we also stop at the beach to listen to Nature's "Carol of the Ocean" that night.

I go over to my dad's side of the family Christmas Eve, have a little "Christmas" Christmas morning at home, and then go over to my mom's side of the family in the afternoon.
