1 Month at Sears...

#1 Postby therock1811 » Sun Dec 10, 2006 11:47 pm

And I'm their "go-to" person already.

I started there November 3, 2006. It's been a month and a week since then, and they've been asking me to be the main greeter at the front of the store on weekends! Granted, that means I'm there all weekend when I'd rather be elsewhere, but hey, if that's their way of saying they're confident I can do the job, then so be it. I love my job...and yes they pulled me from the register, I suspect because they knew I was having problems with it physically. But since I love talking to people, it fits.

Customer complaint: I purchased a jacket that was locked to another one, well I finally got someone to unlock the two jackets. Paid for it and left the store only to find out the little alarm thing filled with ink was still attached to the inside sleeve. My daughter is the one who found it but she was in Columbus, MS with friends. The Mother took it to a local Sears there (without a receipt) and they removed the alarm ink thing. LOL!! No questions asked. :cheesy:

All kidding aside, I am VERY proud of you Jeremy. They made a great choice by making you the go to person.

LOL Linda. I never heard of something like that happening. Typically those things are rigged to go boom if they leave the store, I think...I'll ask my supervisor, I guess ya learn something new every single day.
