For me it's not Christmas without a nice glass of Eggnog and some warm peanut-butter fudge with a football game on the TV.

'Tis the season Jen.....I must admit I did crack up reading your post. Too funny.

We're very, very late taking our annual family xmas card photo and we just took it, at half-time during the Bengals game. I think this was the first year we took it in under 5 minutes. Anyway, we were all bickering and fighting, just before the flash goes off and suddenly, we're all smiley. I just sighed and of course laughed, b/c well it wouldn't be xmas without bickering! Even the dog was grumbling, we kept making her sit and sit, with a silly red hat on. She's pretty annoyed with us right now....he he.

Hang in there.....it's just a week away now!

And 100% true too! I'm just too tired to care this year, and Dave is too. For 20 years we've tried to appease everyone and someone is always disappointed, so for a change, we're pleasing ourselves this year. My Mom gets it - she's sick of it too! It's mostly my sister and MIL that have the picture of the big happy family togetherness thing at Christmas. If we don't do things their way, we'll hear about it for weeks. The way I see it, we'll get the martyr act or a chewing out from someone anyway, so why bother?

I can just see poor Hope with her goofy hat on glaring out of the picture! So where is it? We wanna see!
