New Horizons one year in space

it has now been 365 days since new horizons launch last year at this time. It is now 39 days from Jupiter and 3097 days from pluto.

Mission Milestones
February 2007 Jupiter gravity assist
March 2007 - June 2015 Interplanetary cruise
July 2015 Pluto-Charon encounter
2016-2020 Kuiper Belt objects encounter

Cool, I'm hoping that everything goes smoothly. I think that this will ultimately confirm that Pluto shares more in common with the other Kuiper Belt Objects, than the 8 planets.
