Mozer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Rowan University, with some met background from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She also earned an Associates degree in Applied Science from the Community College of the Air Force and a Master of Aeronautical Science Degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Essentially, she has a limited meteorological background except for some experience while she was the in AF Reserves.

Here's an autographed picture for y'all:

I think TWC has shifted its focus to fluff and stuff as the advent of the Internet came on.

Seriously, when TWC was born it was unique and the place for Weather Junkies to tune to. I loved it and watched it all the time much to the chagrin of my family who thought I was nuts.

But there was no Internet, no S2K, no Weather Underground back then.

I think many others were like me and now that they can get the information they crave on demand; why watch TWC?

So, they cater to the casual viewer of weather with fluff, and pretty girls and target those who have no idea what the weather is all about.

The serious enthusiast has "left the room" and the TV.

I used to watch it all the time but I haven't watched it for more than 2 minutes at a time in a long time.

That guy, Jorma Duran, or whatever his name is.. the one that they send around the country covering weather stories tends to mix things up a lot too.

He seems nice, but I first noticed him during the April 2006 tornado outbreaks and he irked me sometimes with little mistakes. And still does.
