In Pennsylvania the you can't sell alcohol any place other than a State Store or a beer distributor . Only select State Store are open on Sunday!!!! It's crazy.

I thought they were passing a law so you could sell beer in normal stores?

As far as Ohio, you can buy beer anywhere basically.. gas stations, stores, etc. As far as liquor, I know you can go to some grocery stores to get it. Krogers does have a nice liquor section.

ohiostorm, I think they have allowed some gas stations and such to sell beer, but I don't think there are any in our area.

Ohmygosh...you can buy beer & liquor anywhere here. Walmart, grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations. Anytime and anyday (except between 2am-11am on Sundays).

LOL! Just watch where you move in the south. While some states down here are fairly free with respect to liquor, many of them are very very strict, and some even have "dry" counties.

That's what my Dad used to tell me. That and "Suffer a little, it's good for your character."

I've been to Ruth's Chris and IMO Del Frisco's is far better.

My parents think so too and thats why they gave us $100 gift card to go try it out.
Can't wait to try it. :P

We have several open around here and it's usually an hour wait on weekend. The Texas ribeye is the best I've ever had, along with the loaded sweet potatoe. :)

I just got one thing to say about Ruth Chris.....

They were headquartered in New Orleans, but after Katrina they pulled up stakes and moved to Fla(?). I thinks it's wrong for them to do something like that, leaving when we need all the businesses we can get

OK rant over

Den Draeck (The Dragon). The name says it all. ;)

I'm a vegetarian, but my friends say that the steaks are perfect there (just as the rest of the food)

My hubby and I love the Outback for steaks. Recently we had a chance to eat at a new steak place here in Lakeland called Louie Macks. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare, it came out well done and with a funky taste. The rest of the meal was all right but I will not go there again.

I ate there. The menu is on a football. It's really good food. I always say you get what you pay for and when it comes to food I don't mind paying. :)

My favorite steak place was Stroud's a local resturant first in Abbeville where I grew up then they moved to Lafayette, they have closed their doors in the last couple of weeks. I have pretty much had steaks at all the other places you all have mentioned. Last year we went to Miami and stayed at Shula's hotel, had one of their steak dinners, that was the second best steak I have every had. Beats all the other places you have mentioned.
