Day By Day Timelapse Videos (4 Days)

#1 Postby brunota2003 » Thu Jul 26, 2007 8:55 pm

Alright...someone had to do it, they just HAD to post their first timelapse on here and inspire me to attempt my first one as well. It's not high quality, the reason being is it was taken with a webcam through a window screen...however, I'm going to mess with it further and work with my storm case and camera housings (yes, the storm case and housings off of the Hurricane Landfall Project Isuzu Rodeo), and see what results I can get...Enjoy!

Not bad for a first try, and considering the equipment you had. Keep up the effort, it takes a lot of patience to do a timelapse, as I learned painfully. You should get a good digital camera and a tripod and do a timelapse outside. :)

Well, I finally got it outside and got some interesting results (at least I think they are interesting...)

Personally, I like the 10 second one better, mainly because of the tree line.

Your second and third attempts were much better. It looks like you got a storm in the third one.

Indeed. Was the one that hit just west of here yesterday. I have todays in with me currently, but the good part got ruined when the storm made the power flicker and turned off my laptop T.T I'll post them in a little while.

The "ghost" at the end of the final one was my mom...she decided to stand in front of it for like...a minute...so its just a flicker.
