SAW IV: I just SAW it!

It will be in theaters tomorrow. I have already seen the previous 3, so I will most likely see this one. I believed after seeing SAW III that that was the end of the series of movies, but I was wrong, and checking on Wikipedia, there is already planned SAW V and SAW VI.

By the way, perfect timing for Holloween.

Are you going to see it?

The "Saw" movie series is an automatic turn-off for me since the movie previews.

Saw is becoming as laughable a franchise as Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street were back in the late 1980'/early 1990s'. Releasing a basically cookie cutter style movie every year is deluding this once fresh and innovative concept. Hopefully we will not have to put up with a Saw V, or "Saw: Resurrection", next Halloween. Let it die already.

I love the horror genre, but this series was too intense and sadistic for me.

When I was 6, my mom took me to the movies to see "Nightmare on Elm Street", and I didn't even flinch once.

Nowadays, movies like "Saw" are going TOO far.

The first one wasn't as goreish and sadistic as the second and third one have been and actually very clever. Third one returned to that cleverness a little bit but not as quite as much the first. These sequels are coming out too fast now and it's starting to get played out. But I still love the franchise and I'm going to see Saw 4, Sat. night.

If the liked the previous three, you're going to like the fourth edition. More people are tested, new equipment, and historical flashbacks that make you understand how everything developed. Be aware that THE GAME HAS JUST BEGUN!!!

Saw... the idea of Saw was a decent idea. But by the end of the movie, the idea got old. The 3 sequels just dragged on until I become sick of hearing about them.

Saw wasn't scary, it's not a horror movie. It's a gross-out flick. A gore-fest. A sick twisted plot that was clever for about half of a movie, then became redundant.

I like scary movies that actually try to scare you instead of try to gross you out, which is why I like Blair Witch.

Sorry, Saw fans, It's just not for me.

The first Saw was more of psycholigical thriller than a horror movie. The intention is not really scare anyone, but to be shocked on sick a human being can be.

I just saw the Saw IV it was really good right up until the ending, which was confusing as hell. After reading stuff online I understand it a little better, but it was too opened ended to really be acceptable for me. It may be time Saw IV franchise to end while it's on top. But if there is Saw V I'll probably wind up seeing it.

If you think about it, the entire series is a movie, and what we are seeing every year is a chapter of the entire movie. That's why the endings are not really ending!!!

The Blair Witch Project was indeed both a masterful work of marketing, and a damn fine piece of film making considering the limitations under which it was created. You had a movie in which nothing basically happened, and the big payoff turned out to be a guy standing in the corner of an old run down house. Still it managed to both terrify audiences world wide, and gross phenomenal amounts of money.
