This morning has been a rough one for drivers traveling on I-635 (LBJ Freeway). At 4:00AM, a tractor trailer going westbound was overturned followed by a fuel spill. The driver said that he tried to avoid a stray dog that was in his way. HAZMAT is at the scene to try and clean the fuel spill.
And if things weren't bad enough, according to a traffic report from Traffic Pulse (Traffic.com) a person made a suicidal jump at 9AM on the same freeway south of the incident.

WOW!! Sounds a bit like what happened to me as I was leaving Dallas headed back home from a Hyundai crash......on I35 W, I believe it was, a car overturned and killed someone. They had to shut down the interstate so they could land a life-flight heli on it.........a wait in traffic i didnt mind.

The driver said that he tried to avoid a stray dog that was in his way. I love dogs, but if I'm going 70mph on a freeway I'm not moving for it. A few years ago I was driving on a major roadway and somebody in front of me jerked off the road to avoid a dog and slammed into a telephone pole head on.
But's that's really freaky that a suicide occured in the same area.
