#1 Postby wyq614 » Mon Feb 04, 2008 1:00 am

According to the Chinese Meteorological Agency (CMA), On 4 February, fog may occur on southern China as well as a part of northern China around 35N 110-115E. The visibility of above regions will be lower than 1 km, some areas lower than 200m.

From 5 February, Southern China will again suffer from weak snow-rain process, snow may gradually weaken from 5 to 10 February.

From 10 February, it will again start snowing/raining in Southern China. This time the duration will be as long as a month.

As the warm system in the southwest as well as the cold system both weakened, on 3 February, the rain/snow in the most areas between 20-30N 100-120E stopped, however, on 5-6 February, the warm system may reintensify, thus, Southern China will again occur weak rain/snow weather. Freezing rain may occur in Western part of Guizhou Province. In Northern China from 100E to 130E, temperature may turn 4 degrees centigrade lower. As for 7 February, as the cold system weakens, Central and Eastern China may enjoy sunny to cloudy weather.

After 10 February, a strong cold front will affect Central and Eastern China, Northern China approximately from 100E to 140E may suffer from great temperature fall, meanwhile, the south part of China will again be covered by snow/rain.
