Reporters interviewing a 104-year-old woman: 'And what do you think is the best thing about being 104?' the reporter asked. She simply replied, 'No peer pressure.'

When Jeanne Calment was asked, on her 120th birthday what sort of future she expected, her response was "a very short one", she died in 1997 aged 122.
