Well, looks like my previous post was too serious.

I find Chad Vader to be very funny, i.e, I'd like you to meet me at Gino's pizza for dinner to, um, discuss some plans I have for a more powerful laser checkout system. Maybe Reagan could have used that line for his Star wars project.

Does anyone here remember this particular touching video version of the short poem entitiled, "High Flight", which was played just prior to local TV station late night signoff on many stations back, say, in the early 1970's?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1--chhuIP7w

"Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth.... "
".....put out my hand and touch the face of god."

Thanks to Youtube, I just saw it tonight for the first time since my childhood (~35 or more years). Hearing this again was so moving that it made my spine tingle. The combination of the video, inspiring music, and of course the narration of the poem itself is so moving to me. Wow.

In memory of the Challenger astronauts from 1986, Ronald Reagan quoted a few of these words.
