Do you mind being a friend of a communist?

Yes, I do. As they are as terrible as Nazists.

[Poll]I'm joining the Chinese Communist Party

#1 Postby wyq614 » Tue Mar 04, 2008 1:23 am

I, together with my several friends, have written the application last midnight (midday for you Americans), that will eventually lead us to join the CCP around a year later. Well, here in China a CCP membership is necessary for a brighter future.

I promise I'll be as friendly to you as I was before and I am now, just because you are my friends, Please believe that Chinese people are friendly, no matter he/she is a CCP member or a non-CCP.

Hope that we go on understanding each other and making friends.

Congratulations. I know it's an integral part of society in China, and joining the party does not necessarily mean one is truly a communist. Indeed, the CCP is beginning to have some capitalist traits seep in.

Wow, I'm actually kind of surprised there are two votes for the first one. Do what you need to do to get yourself ahead in life (so long as it doesn't involve screwing someone else). :D

Believe me, The Chinese Communist Party is the hardest for one to join.

To join the party, you actually need to complete this steps:

1. Write a formal application. Of course some examples can be found on the Internet, so writing is easy for us.
2. Party Class, or we say take a closer look to the Party's ideal and policies. We are also to learn about the Chart of the Party.
3. Take a test to see how much do you know about the Party.
4. Chat with the secretary of your party branch to "exchange the thought". In fact you can chat about everything.
5. Wait for around a year, as your Party group is "watching over your behavior".
6. You swear to become a party member.

As a communist you will be regarded as supporting politically leftist or subversive causes. You are joining a party that executed more than 5000 people last year. I voted YES.

The above link is anti communist China propoganda viewable outside China.

In the US we have freedom of speech but the media still maintains control. What would happen if for example someone claimed that the 9/11 attack on the WTC buildings was actually a test involving skyscraper planned obsolescence? The story would not get any mainstream media coverage and there could not be any change in the US citizens belief that they actually had been attacked.
