Email Spam Help

#1 Postby CajunMama » Sat Mar 15, 2008 11:22 pm

Somehow my email account is sending out spam. I know because it's being sent from me to me. Help!!!!!!!! What could be causing this? I run spybot, avg, adaware. Cox.net filtered it out as spam. :spam:

You've been hacked and your e-mail account has been hijacked. Need to get with your provider and get your account changed or change e-mail providers and close the account.

Steve,

The one of the accounts was the one provided by her ISP (She asked in chat the other night). CM-- change your passwords on all the accounts and see if it stops.

I've seen that happen to mine as well though they land in the Spam bulk folder too.

Off to change my password. Thanks!

I have yahoo.

Ever since I've changed my password which I had since the very beginning, my bulk mail folder isn't as full everytime I log in.
