A rant and a warning to travelers.

Do not for any reason fly into PHL (Philadelphia International Airport).

You will never find a greater gathering of idiots working in one place. Every grade school drop out in town works there.

I got caught in a two hour delay for non existant weather for one. We get there, we have to wait another 15 minute for a gate, and another 30 for bags. Nobody has the mental capacity to help you with anything. The people collecting parking fees can't even count. The Average IQ in PHL is about the same as the average high in April. This ain't the first time. A few years ago we waited 2 hours for our bags because of thunderstorms about 100 miles away. Last year it was the same story as today. The Unions who run the airport are the dumbest people alive, may they burn along with the airport. I feel better now.

By the way in the 45 minutes wasted waiting for a gate and our bags, when flying into JAX, we had our bags, our rental car, and were 20 miles away from the airport.

Save yourself the nonsense and stupidity, fly to Newark or Atlantic City.

I stopped in PHL once on either Allegheny or Piedmont, had a nice view on final of the USS Forrestal being worked on. Didn't leave the plane.
