I dont know what happened in the first case but that woman didnt "fall". Her face looks like she took multiple impacts, not something one would expect to see from a drunk falling on the floor.

The second video shows a cop with a short fuse dealing with a punk kid who obviously doesnt know how to pronounce the words "officer" and "sir". The cop displayed a lack of self control as much as the kid displayed a lack of respect. Had that kid acted a little differently this may have had a different outcome although that cop needs to act just a little more professional.

I HATE kids calling me "dude".

I laughed out loud over the second video, no reason at all for his actions in that situation. He could've easily told them to leave, instead he wanted to make a huge scene. I guess the donuts weren't hot that day or something.

There are always two sides to a situation. I have to agree somewhat with George on that one, however, imo it does not in any way excuse the actions of the policeman. He needed a course in anger management as much as the 14 year old needed to learn how to show some respect. Both were wrong in that situation.

In the first video the woman should not have been trying to leave the room since she was being retained. But you will never convince me that her injuries resulted from a fall.

The difference is though, that kid never signed up to protect his community and act as a role model and as a responsible figure, the cop did. Showing respect to an adult or police officer is a moral thing,it isn't something that has to be done and is against the law,and everyones morals differ. Lots of policeman just like to abuse to the fact that they can get away with almost anything, happens here all the time.Rapes,Bribes,brutality. To get respect one has to earn it.

Exactly!! That is why both the officer and the kid were in the wrong. Neither did anything to earn the others respect.

But, as noted, the cop is paid to uphold the law with respect and the kid is not. The cop is far more in the wrong. Cops in my experience often forget who they work for.

In a slightly similar context. I was watching videos of European police trying to deal with football (soccer) hooligans (Absolute scum of the earth). And they were throwing bricks at police and kicking policeman in the face. But yet the police failed to use anything more than a riot shield most time or maybe a batton, but 1 policeman with a batton is nothing for 50 drunk violent idiots. They seriously need to think about using real force against them and showing them that they CAN deal with that crap.Or else it will never end.Now those are the kinds of people they could use deadly force on for all I care.
