Summer vacation

I only been at my job for 5 months and don't have vacation time yet. And I am back in retail once again, so I am working like every Saturday. I may try to take off a weekend and maybe get a quick trip to the local beach in Grand Isle 2 hours away. Or possibly our fishing camp down the bayou. I put my request in 4th of July weekend, and it is still showing pending. I bet it will denied. I think it may be a blackout weekend. I am currently saving up for a cruise, so will go around this time next year when I will be able to take a week vacation from my job.

I am not sure what our plans are. We just dropped half a million on a new house with 5 acres of property along with a new hot tub, riding lawnmower, and a 61" HD TV. We may be in SC for a BBQ in a couple of weeks, but we won't be taking too many long vacations this year.
