Anyone else watching? Just two performers have sang so far. My comment so far is this: Taylor Swift can't sing live!

Watching too. Agree with you on TS. Those judges are tough!!! Though I am not a country music fan I think it will be a good show and the judges will probably really bring out the best talent.
Knowing your background I would be interested in your commets too.

No, I didn't try out. Melissa (the last one) was my favorite. I agreed with the judges decision as far as who should go. I also disliked the Navy guy. I realized he is a great man, but I don't think that should be a factor in the winning.
I would rank them in the following order:
1. Melissa Lawson - "Something To Talk About"
2. Pearl Heart - "Wide Open Spaces"
3. Gabe Garcia - "All My Exes"
4. Lauren and Sophie - "Stand By Your Man"
5. Third Town - "Elvira"
6. Coffey - "Drift Away"
7. Shawn Mayer - "I Forgot What She Sang"
8. Justin Gaston - "Drops of Jupiter"
9. Ashlee Hewitt - "I'm Not Sure What Song She Sang But Her Voice Annoyed Me"
10. Alyson Gilbert - "Suds In The Bucket"
11. Tommy Stanley - "Walkin' In Memphis"
12. Charley Jenkins - "I Like It. I Love It."
I would rank them in the following order:

Ididn't watch close enough(more like drifting off to sleep) to rank all of them, but I do agree with Melissa Lawson as no. 1. I think Lauren and sophie could be no. 2, Pearl Heart at no. 3. The rest are a mix and none really has as good a shot as the first 3 imo. But what do I know about country music??
