X-y-no has done a terrific job of tuning up the server and should be commended!

Re: Site Slowdown
Minor delays by a few seconds, but considering we're hitting new online records, this is a walk in the park!

just got back to this, sorry. Yes, for some reason after about an hour everything was fine again. Just thought if it was indeed a problem that you would want to know.
I totally commend you on your job keeping the site up this year, it has been simply amazing. Thanks to x-y-no and to everyone else as well.
I also what to thank the pro mets, met students, and pro amateurs with all the fantastic up to date information they have been supplying with the storms, from updates, recon, etc.. You all are wonderful and it is so gracious of you to give of your time so willingly to us all. The met profession must have some of the finest I have seen in any profession around.
