Who's the daddy?

I watched the new 90210 the other night just out of curiosity. Turns out Kelly has a four year old son with "someone she had a history with while in high school", and they father has been non-existent in the child's life.

Here are the obvious candidates.

I think it could be someone different but I want to hear other opinions first

For some ODD reason, I thought you might be talking about 90210....and you were!!! LOL I've been reading the articles on the TV Guide website.

I haven't tuned into the new 90210 but watched the original. When I read that Kelly has a 4 year old son, I hoped that Brandon would be the father. I always thought they made a cute couple and should have gone ahead with their wedding. When I watched that episode, with Kelly looking stunning I might add, and then they had that talk, deciding to part friends and not get married, I felt like the rug had been pulled out from under this fan!

So I hope it's Brandon.

But I have a question - is the new 90210 really that good? Just curious. One of my main reasons not to watch it is I have so many shows already, each week!

I wasn't impressed tbh Mary. The only reason I watched it is because I found out Rob Estes is in the new one

I would be surprised if Brandon is the father - the father seems to be a dead-beat dad. Brandon was just too responsible! But I would have liked to see Kelly and Brandon together, they would have made such a cute couple!

Kelly's little sister is one of the characters in the show. I didn't see Brenda in this episode. But from what I've read, she is already starting with her diva attitude on the set!

So, I read on TV Guide's website the identity of Kelly Taylor's son's father was revealed.

It was NOT who I wanted it to be.....dang it!

Did you watch it Cindy? Just wanted to be sure before I typed his name.....anyway, here's a link to the article.

Surprised they revealed it this early into the new show/season but then again, they probably did this to keep fans of the original show tuned in. Hoping the father will show up?

I did watch it Mary! Last week they portrayed the father as being dead-beat, non-existant - so I thought okay it has to be Jake, who went on to star on Melrose Place. This week the father is traveling the world helping people. I knew then who it was.

This show is not catching my attention though. I might give it one more go and if I'm still not impressed I will hang my hat up!
