One week too late for Spring Break, and my wife is a teacher.


I spent four years living on a ship. With a hundred other guys in the same room. Many of whom snored. No casino, or bars. Most of the on shore time in Alameda, California, aka, Oakland's less scenic side.


This sounds fun. But timing is wrong.


I hope y'all have fun next March tracking a record Spring SE Texas snowstorm online while cruising...

My wife has sold plenty of cabins on this cruise but as of this moment, NOT A SINGLE ONE FROM STORM2K.
I have had several people send me a personal message saying how tough it is to get people together. I understand that. This doesn't have to be a storm2k get together. It is a storm2k fundraiser!
So even if one couple or family books from here that will generate money to Storm2k.

Today is the deadline for booking and even with almost 5000 views, not a one.
My wife is planning on getting an extension with Carnival for facilitate some more cabins with some of the other groups that have shown a desire to raise some money and have fun.
I will probably still post it here only because it simply takes 15 seconds of my effort.
But, I am admittedly suprised that with all the members here, that no one wanted to go.

Well we have to face reality this is a luxury = something adding to pleasure or comfort but not absolutely necessary.

This cruise is expensive to most people ...something some can't afford.

Sometimes the administrators ask for donations to keep it going.
It always comes up very fast despite all the traffic. Must cost a lot to keep it going.
SO, like mentioned earlier, my wife has agreed to donate a significant portion of the proceeds from bookings on the cruise next March back to Storm2k!!!

Just a heads up, the group rate on the cruise and the potential to raise money for storm2k will be ending in less than 2 weeks. My wife has about 15 cabins left to sell.
