DaylightSavingsTime/11.2/2am
Does anyone know the specific date this Fall, we set clocks back 1 hour?
The numerous clocks in our house are all wrong. OUr VCR's went back an hour, others didn't. A few people told us we went back an hour last night.
But then I heard it was sometime in November we go back? Long after Halloween takes place.
Thanks in advance. Whenever the correct date is, just use this topic again to remind us all.
That almost extra hour of sleep felt great last night! LOL

Since no one has replied yet, I began a search.
A US Navy website states it ends Nov. 2nd.
So, we fall back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 2?
I'd just like a confirmation......thanks! LOL
I remember it being daylight for Halloween last year and many people complained. Parents of very young children liked it but many said DST happened too late in the year. All I know is, I could for once see costumes! And faces.....LOL

Re: Daylight Savings Time
Here is a good site that explains all about the time changes and when they occur.

Oh yeah, I forgot this is the first year where Halloween will be on day light savings time.
So now we have to wait an hour later for it to get dark to go out. One word......LAME!!!!! Why do they have to mess around with the dog gone time. LOL
At least this year its on a Friday so I don't have to worry about school the next day so a little later won't hurt.

Me neither, I hate it. I'm already not liking it thus far because of the crummy summer we had here.

Hey everyone - thanks for the numerous replies. I think I will edit the title to read Nov. 2, 2 am (of which I don't know anyone except sleep deprived college students who probably set their clocks back at this hour, LOL).
It is confusing though, we were all talking about it at work. Nearly everyone has a clock at home that adjusted its time already. Sigh.......it never fails, after the official DST happens again, it takes us a while to adjust all of our clocks! Even the car will be correct again (since I was lame and didn't want to mess with reading my car radio's manual again last March).

IMHO, it's all worth it. So hang in there! And don't ever give up......

I hadn't given up...but, I am still on hiatus. Every time I get ready to go back to school, something goes wrong medically and I have to take more time off.
