Now wait a minute......70's is Classic Rock, and if you can just wipe out the Disco scene this was a decade of un-paralled brilliance.

I liked the British Invasion music over disco, myself. Purely a personal choice! Altho I was into C, S & N in the 70s.....Yes.....Moody Blues.....so yeah, let's wipe that Disco music out or let others *enjoy* it. Just wasn't me.

speaking of CSN..I've got tickets for Chastain Park in Atlanta this September. I've read the reviews and they are still on top of their game. This will be my 4th time seeing them I believe.

j - hey something else we have in common. I'm reading a bio about them. Just found it at the library. It was written in 98 or 99 I think. Very thorough piece of work. Takes you thru their careers before CS&N, and into CSN&Y. I can remember my older brother giving me his beloved first CS&N album, their first, and saying - "this is a really great album, you need to listen to it. I'll just buy myself another, no need to pay me back." Now when your annoying older brother (he teased me something terrible) does something like that, you sit up and take notice. So I listened and became an avid fan. Had every single album they ever put out, prior to CS&N, solo works too. Now we're into CD's, naturally, turntable is packed away. After reading this bio, I just wanted to listen to a CS&N song in the worst way. So we went to the Apple store online, none of their works are available yet. We did find Ohio, so I took that. Within about 10 minutes, I racked up $10 on our Visa bill. Told Jim man, one song leads to another....he kept asking what else do you want....let's see if it's available. We bought Ohio, For What's It's Worth, Eight Miles High, Bus Stop, Look thru any window (I know, bubble gumish, but it was once a fave of mine), All Good People and then some new songs. And so now I'm bopping to BS and the Byrds, along with Neil Y. too!!! And hey, Nina (16) is into some of these oldies. Now that's impressive. I'm into her bands too, Coldplay for one.

It's funny. My kids look at old pictures of me from the 60's and say "Mom, were you a hippie?" I have to tell them that I just dressed the part. You see they were born in 1966 and 1968. I didn't have time to be a hippie. Jeez, some people have all the fun!!!!! JK I love being a MOM. (or a mother as some would call me) YIKES

Probably would not have invested, and would still be kicking myself!
