I refuse to believe the mystery is that obvious. This is episode 10 of a 24-episode season, and this is a season-long mystery reportedly, there's no way this is it.

Otherwise I loved this episode. Love how Bree and Andrew's relationship has changed. Bob and Lee were hilarious, loved Carlos realizing what Gaby has done. Tom and Lynette are screwed. Susan/Mike/Katherine/MJ was a bit boring, the lack of Jackson is definitely noticeable.

Where do these people get all of there money? This has always amazed me that they have so much time to invest in all these problems. When do they work? Ok, I know, I'm just too much of a realist.

Loved Gabby when she came in after getting the baseball back.

I've always wondered that too.

We know Bree is self employed now. Katherine is a partner in that business (same with Orson). Lynette and Tom are self employed as well (restaurant). That's 4. Edie is in real estate (you'd think she'd be strapped for cash right now.....and just what does her husband do for a living? I wonder.....). Mike's a plumber. Always steady work in that line of work - people do need working bathrooms and kitchens. LOL! Gabby and Carlos....well, I guess Gabby went on a selling spree to fix the roof, pay the mortgage, buy the car. Carlos became a message therapist. This leaves Susan. The weakest career of all of them. I'm guessing she receives child support from Mike. But she has to make some sort of living on her own. I always questioned her line of work - illustrator? I guess there's lots of money in that field?

I've always thought DH reminds me of a modern day Stepford Wives meets mystery theater. There's usually something sinister going on somewhere.....not very realistic. To say the least!

I forgot to ask - Lee and Bob. One is an attorney. What does the other one do?

Nicollette Sheridan to leave the show. Am I sad? No, not really. I was never an Edie fan. The character was very hard to like! She was written that way. But I wish the actress well.

Even though they hype made you believe it might be one of the four at the show's core, I am so glad we're not losing Lynette, Susan, Gaby or Bree. Or even Mary Alice and Katherine!

I've always said that the character either makes or breaks the actor's cred. For example, when NS played Paige Matheson on Knots Landing, fans LOVED her! Adored her in fact. I did. So when she was slated to be a cast member of DH, I was excited. Until we met Edie.

I think I will always think fondly of her as Paige and not Edie. LOL!

The details are here:

Episode will air on March 22nd I think. There's a 3 week break after this Sunday and then March Sweeps with likely 4 episodes in a row.

Never watch the show, but Terri Hatcher, not a young woman anymore, almost my age, but darn, is she good looking.!.!
Ok, I'm married, strictly hypothetical, but I'd rather have dinner with Hatcher than Longoria, even if Eva wasn't married to a tall French guy that could beat me up.

I caught a mistake in this last episode. As Lynette was reluctantly selling Tom's beloved car and lets on to Katherine that their money is very tight, Katherine says - paraphrasing - sorry to hear that, etc., etc., and the way the economy is too.

The economy!

So in 2014 our economy still stinks? LOL

Wait, don't answer that question. It did seem to me that the writers threw in an "economy stinks" type comment, to relate to viewers now, in 2009.

That idea goes far, except......we are now 5 years into the future!

When apparently Bree's car parks itself! And has a built in fridge.....

Okay back to discussing all DH stuff. I just thought I'd mention this little goof.

LOL, I kind of noticed that too. This Sunday's episode also largely revolves around the economy.

More goofs. In tonight's episode description it states - Lynette wants Tom to sell the recession-wracked pizzeria.

Recession!!!!

Susan annoys the poop outta me. It's always about her, her, her, her, her, her, her. I could have bopped her one when she started complaining about katherine spending time with the mj. Well, mike has to work as much as he can since susan insists on mj attending the expensive school.

Loved gabby getting carlos' bonus increased up to $30k.

I didn't like orson. Jealous little twit he was. So worried about how much andrew was making and then pocketing andrew's mont blanc inkpen.

I agree with everything you said. Susan was even more annoying than usual this week(and it wasn't that long ago Jackson was staying over at Susan's and hanging around MJ all the time!) and Orson has become almost unbearable to watch.

I was tired of Susan during the first season. By now, I am so weary of her antics. She never learns from her mistakes! Each wife has their own unique look and Susan has hers. She suddenly gets very serious and does this thing with her eyes, as if she now understands the situation (whatever it may be). Last time was when the school principal said he didn't have an available job. Anyway, I am SO sick of this look, I want to smack Teri Hatcher when she gives it. We know this Susan look quite well by now - it doesn't tell me Susan isn't self centered or "together" - she's a mess!

I'm still not thrilled with this season either. But we're stuck with it.

The only storyline that I'm liking lately is Edie and her murdering husband and Gabby and Carlos. It seems just when I get interested in a plot ----- the myster or problem is solved ---- never to be heard about again. Maybe it's just me.

Edie is a hoot. She was funny last week with gabby & the bootcamp. Which btw, i loved gabby hugging her seamstress after edie blew up at gabby and told her she liked the frumpy gabby better.

You knew the situation Carlos' boss was in would not end in a good way.

All in all, I still wish they hadn't gone 5 years forward in time. I want to back to when the twins were little, Julie was looking at colleges, etc.

Sigh......we're stuck in 2014 though....

I really liked this episode. Orson has become the worst character I've ever seen. Stealing? Really? I loved how Tom/Lynette came to a such a nice understanding at the end. A lot of people seem to hate them as a couple but I've always felt they were perfect for each other. Also liked that Susan wasn't quite as prominent as usual. The Dave mystery continues to crawl along almost painfully slowly(about time Edie found out his name isn't Williams). Lines of the night, Bree saying "I don't want to involve a large knife" while Tom/Lynette had a fight(which was ironic considering what happened at the end), and Gaby telling the boss's mistress "well call the Vatican and tell them we need a manger and some hay".   My mom during the last commercial was all like "who kills who?" and I thought it was just hype and didn't figure it out til the first part of the last scene with the boss and Maria when she was holding a knife. I ran and told my mom and she was like "no way". :P
