Marty takes care of our lawn and does a great job. I still get a kick when I see those flyers from Tru-Green, etc. stuck in our door handle and then wonder what the heck they were looking at when they walked up to the door.

Re: I'm so angry
On one occasion, I was home the day they came into the neighborhood. It was one of those dry fertilizer applications that time.
While he did not know I was home, I watched him work on my neighbor's home, then another neighbor's too.
But he skipped mine and my next door neighbor to the west.
I just figured he was going to return on a different day and make it happen....UNTIL, he left his thank you and bill on all door knobs, including mine!
I'm not so sure that didn't happen to me, now that I have read your post. I usually saw them come by(since I have been unemployed)and one time they should have been by I'm not sure if they were or not, but I know I got the bill on the door. Doesn't matter now, but it wouldn't surprise me.
My son repairs forklifts and one of their customers is the Scott's franchise here in Houston. He says there are a bunch of former TruGreen-Chemlawn techs at Scott's and they all say that TG-CL doesn't ever change their formulat(techs say)if they even actually use a formula whild Scott's does definitely use different things/formulas for different yards.

I've done all the treatments myself. We had a wet and cool spring so naturally my lawn got red thread and I also had to treat for that. It looks pretty good, if I do say so myself.
Hey, I need the exercise anyway and it always gives me a good excuse for a gin and tonic! LOL I love working in my yard. I love my flower gardens best of all.

I now live in a place where my yard work consists of raking rocks and pulling a few weeds. Today I have the once a year task of blowing a fluffy layer of "flowers" that have accumulated under the Texas Ebony tree into a small pile, bag it up, and let the wind do the rest.
One of life's accomplishments when I lived back in Illinois was to earn "Yard of the Month" from the Men's Garden Club. I did that.
Now my goal will be to get those flowers bagged and ready for pickup in less than 30 minutes.
Priorities do change over the years. Maybe I have Tru Green to thank for that.

Do any of you remember the Green Thumb Club over at TWC? Believe it or not we're all still together and have yearly reunions. Last year they came to my home and we visited many areas in downtown Pittsburgh. It was so much fun. Now these guys and gals know how to garden. I've learned so much from them. Good people.

They pull the same crap here...But they were suppose to just come the 5 months in the summer that I paid in full in advance...They kept coming after that and I didn't pay...I never paid ...They called a bunch of times...They even kept spraying...I told them if they came again I would call the police...Anyway about after dealing with them for about 6 months they just quit calling...It never went against my credit...
